Bibb County Schools Closed for Wednesday

MACON, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – Bibb County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 12th, for all students and staff.

According to a district news release, the decision to close schools came after a briefing with the National Weather Service and the Macon-Bibb County Emergency Management Agency.

All school district events have been cancelled, as well, including Parent Academy classes, athletics, and professional learning workshops.

No decision on whether schools will re-open on Thursday has been made at this time.

The Macon-Bibb EMA has also asked that anyone noticing downed tree limbs or power lines to call 478-832-6300.
