USA Network Stops in Warner Robins to Promote their Anti-Discrimination Tour
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – What’s something you won’t stand for? Racism? Religious intolerance? Bullying?
A seven city “I Won’t Stand For…” college campus bus tour, a public service campaign started by the cable channel USA Network, is hitting the highways and byways of America as part of a nationwide movement to combate hate and discrimination.
And today, they made a stop in Warner Robins at the Cox Solutions Store on Watson Boulevard.
Tour producer Gina Stefani says this is a good chance for people to speak up on something they see as an injustice, “It brings awareness and it kind of gives people the opportunity to voice their opinion on issues in the world today that they won’t stand for.”
As a part of the USA Network’s Characters Unite Month, the tour is connected to a larger campaign by the cable channel to shine a spotlight on the importance of tolerance & acceptance using on-air programming, digital content, and community events across the country.
The “I Won’t Stand For…” tour includes stops at the University of Virginia, North Carolina State, the University of Georgia, Louisiana State, Texas A&M, Arizona State, and the University of Colorado.
