Bobcat Baseball to Host “Bark at the Park” and Kids Run the Bases Sunday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – When the defending Peach Belt Conference (PBC) Tournament Champion Georgia College baseball squad battles defending National Champion University of Tampa Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. there will be a few extra fans, of the four-legged variety.

Sunday’s game will show off promotions from two groups of Georgia College’s Sports Marketing Class, adding a “Bark at the Park” day, teaming with “Have a Heart, Save a Life” animal shelter. Also, in between contests, all youngsters ages 14 and under can run the bases at John Kurtz Field.

First pitch at John Kurtz Field on Georgia College’s West Campus comes at 1 p.m. Sunday.
