Earthquake Rattles South Carolina; Middle Georgians Feel Tremors

EDGEFIELD, South Carolina – A 4 point 4 earthquake rattled off east of Augusta and in South Carolina Friday night. 

it happened just before 10:30.

The quake’s epicenter is actually reported to be in Edgefield, South Carolina about a two and half hour drive from Macon.

41NBC received emails from viewers out in Gray and in Milledgeville who say their entire house started shaking and they actually thought it was from helicopters flying above.
