Officer Shoots and Kills Aggressive Dog

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County deputy shot and killed a dog at Skyview Mobile Home Park on Houston Road Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of aggressive dogs barking and chasing children around the neighborhood.

According to a news release, when the deputy pulled up to the scene, three aggressive dogs approached him.

Shortly after, one of the dogs charged at him, then the deputy fired shots killing it before animal control arrived on the scene.

Animal control removed the other aggressive dogs from the area.
