Bibb Deputies Say Two Robberies Are Linked
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating two robberies that may be related to each other. Both incidents happened a little before noon Sunday.
The first robbery happened on Robert Henry Street at a local church. Deputies say the suspect demanded money from a church member. The victim gave the suspect his wallet and took off.
The second incident happened on Glendale Avenue. Officials say the suspect called a cab and demanded money from the driver while putting an object to the cab driver’s head. The object turned out to be a stick.
Deputies believe the suspect is the same in both incidents. He’s described as a dark-skinned male, wearing a brown ski jacket with red and black tennis shoes.
