Bobcats Sandlin and Bick Land Spots on Preseason All-PBC Team

AUGUSTA, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – The Peach Belt Conference (PBC) announced its Baseball Preseason All-PBC Team Thursday, with No. 32 Georgia College putting two on the squad.

Senior shortstop Daniel Bick (Alpharetta, Ga.) and sophomore outfielder Jake Sandlin (Evans, Ga.) brought in two of the spots on the 11-member team.

Sandlin earned All-PBC Second Team honors in his first year of action as a Bobcat, hitting .311 with nine home runs and 45 RBI, including a memorable grand slam as part of a six-RBI game in the PBC Tournament.

Georgia College put third baseman Jeremy Donaldson on this preseason team a year ago.

The Bobcats kick off the 2014 campaign at home against King College Saturday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. in doubleheader action at John Kurtz Field.
