UPDATE: Arrest Made in West Macon Shooting

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Deputies have arrested and charged 26-year-old Dexter Montrez in connection with Friday’s shooting in West Macon.

He’s charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 4 p.m. at the Macon Garden Apartments on Mercer University Drive.

Deputies say 26-year-old Antiquilla London and 20-year-old Quincy Smith were shot during a dispute with a third person, 26-year-old Dexter Montrez Holloway.

London and Smith were taken to a local hospital where they’re listed in stable condition. Holloway was taken into custody and questioned by the investigators.

The sheriff’s office sent a news release around 12 a.m. Saturday saying they arrested and charged Holloway.
