Student Receives A Perfect Score on SAT

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -Perfection, a lot of people say that is unrealistic. However, one high school student in Macon is proving them wrong.

Naaadorkor Allotey received a perfect score on her SAT. School officials at Mount De Sales say the score is the highest in the city, and maybe even middle Georgia.

Naaadorkor has been making all A’s on her report card since the seventh grade. Now the Mount De Sales senior is heading to Princeton University.

Naaadorkor, is the schools’ “Star Student.” She has a superscore of 2400 on her SAT exam, after taking the standardized test three times.

She says she loves math.

“I like the imagination involved, like imagining things coming together or a graph going around an axis to make a 3D object,” she said.

The Mount De Sales Star Student has already received more than a half a million dollars in scholarship offers from some of the best colleges and universities in the country. But Naaadorkor says she has her sights set on Princeton.

“I plan to major in bio-medical engineering or, as Princeton calls it, ‘chemical and biological engineering,'”she added.

Naaadorkor has walked the halls of several universities to get a feel of what to expect.

“I visited Princeton and we toured the campus and heard about all the classes and stuff, and I like the concentrations that they had and the people seemed happy,” she continued.

Naaadorkor plans to go to medical school. Her mother is an opthalmologist and her father practices internal medicine.

“As a doctor with my engineering skills, I can see what’s needed and create it myself,” says the Star Student.

Mount De Sales Director of Student Academics, Dr. Benjamin Rollins, says Naaadorkor has always excelled in the classroom. 

“Naaadorkor’s GPA is definitely up there,” says Rollins. “I think a 4.1 is her cumulative GPA.”

It is easy to see why people who know Naaadorkor are expecting great things from the star student, who has raised the bar in academic excellence and created a path for herself of endless opportunities.
