Local Sheriff’s Office Investigates CVS Armed Robbery

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place earlier this morning at the CVS on Gray Highway.

According to a news release, the suspect walked up to the register and demanded money from the clerk while he waved his handgun.

Before the clerk could hand over the money, the suspect fled the scene taking three packs of cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male in his 30’s. He is about six-feet-tall and weighs around 200 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt, white baseball cap and black pants.

Fortunately, no one was injured during this incident.
