Perry Police Arrest Teen Suspect in Connection with Armed Robbery

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Perry police identified 18-year-old Jake David Snell as the suspect in connection to an armed robbery that took place at the Choice Food Mart on Saturday evening.

According to Perry Police, the suspect entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The cashier handed over an undisclosed amount of money, then the suspect took off on foot.

Officers spotted Snell in a parked car at Marsha Circle and Parkway Avenue.

When units approached the vehicle, Snell took off, but officers eventually caught up with Snell and took him into custody.

Officers recovered the stolen items from the robbery, and a gun.

Snell is facing several charges, including armed robbery.
