Rutland Boys Hold off Baldwin in Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Baldwin Braves lived up to their nickname Tuesday night against the region leader, but their efforts fell short in a 69-59 home loss.

Shakenneth Williams led the way for the Hurricanes (13-2, 6-2 Region 2-AAAA) with 18 points.  Marquise Williams had 26 points for Baldwin ((5-9, 2-4).

Rutland Girls Move to 12-2

The Rutland Lady Hurricanes wreaked havoc on the Baldwin Bravettes and came away with a  52-24 road win to move to 12-2 on the season.

Tyashia Grayer had 18 points for the Lady Canes (12-2, 6-1 Region2-AAAA).  Tykeasia Williams had nine points for the Bravettes (5-7, 2-4).
