Houston County Chase Suspect Found Not Guilty of Felonies

Prater22-year old Terrance Prater of Warner Robins was found not guilty today, after facing charges for leading local police on a chase in May 2010.  He also faced charges for cruelty to children because there were 3 kids in the car.

Instead, Prater was found guilty of misdemeanor charges of fleeing and attempting to elude, and he pleaded guilty to fifteen traffic offenses.   He will serve 48 months of a ten year sentence.

In May 2010, a Houston County deputy attempted to pull Prater over, but he didn’t stop.  He was accused of excessive speeding, running two stop signs, and driving on the wrong side of the road.
