UPDATE: Councilman John Williams’ Indictment

Warner Robins Councilman John Williams will not be suspended after he was accused of making false statements to the police last November.

According to Governor Nathan Deal’s Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Brian Robinson, the panel that met last week in Atlanta to review Williams’ case did not recommend suspension.

Williams was indicted on one count of felony false statements and writings
over an incident involving his city-issued cell phone.
