Additional Arrest in “Total Care” Personal Home case
GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two more people have been arrested for beating a disabled adult patient at a personal care home.
29-year-old Audrey Ray and 27-year-old Taketia Kine were taken into custody Monday.
Ray is charged with battery for striking a disabled patient at Total Care Personal Home on Milledgeville Highway in Gordon. Kine is charged with unlawful acts for failing to report Owen Pearson allegedly abusing a disabled adult. Pearson is also charged with battery.
Pearson turned himself into the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s office December 1.
The abuse reportedly happened on November 7.
Others arrested in the Total Care Personal Home case are Amber Coverson and Shakia Smith they are charged with aggravated assault and battery. Rodrekais Mosley is also charged with battery and not reporting the abuse.
Shemira Bivins is also charged with not reporting the abuse.
They were arrested last month.
