River Edge Hosts Christmas Gala
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – River Edge Behavioral Health Center held its inaugural Christmas Gala for more than 250 residents and their families on Wednesday morning.
The organization partnered with Central High School’s fine arts program to provide musical and dance entertainment.
Residents were also able to take pictures with Santa Claus.
Director of Developmental Disabilities, Greta O’Dell believes getting together with friends and family brings much needed holiday cheer to her residents.
“It’s just important for them to have a festive event that they can get all dressed up for, and come and see friends that they haven’t seen all year long and fellowship and just have a good time.”
O’Dell says River Edge currently serves more than 110 patients.
