New Assignments for County Commissioner Committees

According to Bibb County Comission Chairman Sam Hart additional responsibilities have been given to commissioners.

The change stems from some commissioners expressing an interest in other areas. Hart hopes these changes will allow for different experiences and opportunities.

“The chairman did not change but we did change one of the commissioners, Commissioner Edwards will not be a part of appropriations. We moved Commissioner Edwards from human resources to finance and we moved Commissioner Allen to human resources.”

Hart says both commissioners expressed specific interests in those departments and he thought they could do the work best by providing leadership to those areas.
