Police Searching for Two Suspects in Macon Armed Robbery
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Macon police are searching for two suspects investigators say are involved in an armed robbery that happened Sunday morning around 1:40.
According to a news release, a 23-year-old male told officers he was walking home from G Mart on Williamson Road when two males in a tan colored vehicle approached him at the corner of Brownley Drive at Van Zandt Drive, and demanded money.
Police say the suspects were wearing ski masks and armed with handguns. The release states they got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and two cell phones.
