Robins AFB Hosts Advanced Aircraft Demonstration

The 116th Air Control Wing hosted an advanced concepts aircraft demonstration Friday afternoon.

The presentation took place in the Joint Surveillance Target Attack and Radar System multi-purpose hangar. The demonstration displayed new upgrades within the T-3 aircraft. The new upgrades will enhance war fighting capabilities.

The Director of Development and Modernization with Northrop Grumman Stephen Pauly says, “The T-3 S has over 700 test flights on it. I would venture to say that this particular airplane is worth about $250 million dollars.”

If all the upgrades are installed, more real time information will get to the war fighter which will allow troops to be better prepared for challenges in the field.
