MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – When the Georgia College soccer team takes on the University of Montevallo Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. at Bobcat Field, not only will it serve as Senior Day, but it will be the program’s annual “Kick for the Cure” event.

The Bobcats will wear their special “Kick for the Cure” jerseys. The jerseys will be offered up for silent auction during the contest, with the winners receiving their prize from the players themselves at the end of the game. All proceeds of the auction will of course go to Breast Cancer Research.

The Montevallo Falcons are on the cusp of the playoff picture, needing a win to further solidify their entry.

The match will also be the final regular-season home contest for Anna Barrow (St. Simons, Ga.) a four-year player who has seen action in 49 total games as a strong defensive player for the Bobcats.

Action begins Saturday, Oct. 26 at Bobcat Field on West Campus with first kick at 3 p.m.
