Macon Man Arrested for 38th Time since 1986 on Drug Charges

Oscar AbramMACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man has been arrested and charged with a litany of drug charges, according to a news release by the Macon Police Department.

Oscar Abram, of 657 Reese Street, was taken into custody at around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, after the MPD Narcotics unit executed a search warrant for the address.

Once inside, officers discovered numerous amounts of drug paraphernalia including marijuana cigarettes, Oxycodone pills, scales, and what police believe to be stolen electronics, tools, and a shotgun. They also located a Honda XR50 motorcycle in the residence which was determined to have been stolen out of Gordon, Georgia.

Abram was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent, Possession of Schedule II with Intent, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Theft by Receiving Auto, Theft by Receiving Stolen Property, and Misdemeanor Obstruction.

This is Abram’s 38th arrest since 1986.
