UPDATE: Body Found Outside of Macon Waffle House Identified
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones identified the man found dead outside of a Waffle House in Macon on Wednesday night as 53-year-old Troy Graham.
The body was discovered around 9:50 pm at the restaurant on Riverside Drive, near Tom Hill Senior Boulevard.
Jones told 41NBC a customer came into the restaurant and told an off duty cop, who was eating, that a man was lying on the sidewalk next to his wheel chair.
The officer called 911, but Graham was already dead when emergency crews arrived.
Jones added that Graham had been treated at the Medical Center of Central Georgia earlier on Wednesday, after he fell out of his wheel chair, and complained of a head injury.
As of Wednesday night, foul play is not suspected.
“He has a bruise on his head and we want to make sure nobody put it there. Hopefully this injury came from the wheel chair,” said Jones.
Jones said Graham was a resident of the Salvation Army.
