Plant Washington Development Gets Closer

An administrative law judge ruled today, Power for Georgians will not have to re-do its entire permit application.

The group, along with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, will only have to address two issues related to emission levels.

The groups will have to provide more extensive data than what was originally in the permit.

Power for Georgian’s spokeperson Dean Alford says this is a positive step, that is keeping construction of the plant on schedule.
