Bibb County Schools to Make up Snow Days

The Bibb County School Board announced students will make up the two missed days from last week’s ice storm.

Those days are March 11th and May 19th. Originally, March 11th Was a scheduled furlough day for teachers, but the school system will use a snow day instead as a furlough and hold classes on the March 11th.

Instead of students getting out of school for Summer Break on May 18th The school year will be extended by one day and end on May 19th.
The extra day of school will not impact graduations that are already scheduled for May 20th and 21st.
