Bobcat Fan Rewards Returns for Second Season, Starts Thursday
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (GCSU RELEASE) – With the fall sports season set to begin Thursday, Sept. 5, the Georgia College Department of Athletics wants to remind you about the Bobcat Fan Rewards program. Scan the code attached before midnight Tuesday for a three-point jump-start!
Accumulated points are “cashed-in” for GC Athletic merchandise and other items, much like the Coke Rewards program from Coca-Cola. The Bobcat Fan Rewards will utilize QR Code technology, and fans with smartphones can use their QR Code readers to sign up, collect points, redeem rewards and manage their account.
Fans without smartphones will also be eligible by signing up at the marketing table at athletic contests. The Bobcat Fan Rewards program also has an up-to-the-minute leaderboard, so all members of Bobcat Nation can compete to be the top Bobcat fan for 2013-14.
Don’t miss the first volleyball game in Georgia College history Thursday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. as we kick the year off in style with a double-point event!
The current leader is Glen Abbey with 579 points, followed closely by Scott McCauley at 271. Alex Cooper rounds out the top three at 160 points. Over 700 fans have signed up to-date.
