Qualifying Ends for 2013 Elections in Fort Valley

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Friday marked the last day for candidates to qualify for the 2013 elections in Fort Valley.

The following are running for City Council:

Mayor: John E. Stumbo (I) and Barbara Williams

At-Large: Alonzo Allen, LeMario Brown, and Duke Lane

East Ward: Juanita Byrant (I)

West Ward: Melba Hester (I) and Anthony Clark

The following are running for Fort Valley Utility Commission:

East Ward: Billy Jones (I) and Minnie Marks Jones

At Large: Jo Ann Dankel (I) and Teresia Dennis
