Bomb Threat at Elam Alexander Academy

 MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County School District Campus Police are investigating a bomb threat at Elam Alexander Academy at Northeast High School.

The school received the bomb threat Friday, at 12:15 p.m., according to a release from Bibb County schools.

School administrators at Elam Alexander Academy and Northeast High School immediately implemented the school district’s bomb threat protocol in response to the incident.

The campus returned to normal operations around 1:30 p.m.

“Student and employee safety is of the highest priority to the Bibb County School District,” continued the release. “The staff and students at both Northeast High School and Elam Alexander Academy at Northeast, are to be commended for their response to today’s incident.”
