Bibb County Schools Watching the Weather

With the possibility of winter weather making driving conditions dangerous early next week, Bibb County School officials say there will be no announcement about schools closing until Sunday afternoon or evening.

District officials are watching the weather and are in direct communication with the National Weather Service for up-to-date forecasts.

The school district will use the following ways to notify the community if schools are closed:

• Automated phone and e-mail messages to all employees and parents.
• Email announcement to all employees.
• Posting on the district’s website, Facebook and Twitter.
