Mercer to Offer Additional Seating for First Football Game
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – If you missed out on your chance to go to Mercer’s first football game in more than 70 years, you’ve got another shot!
The school announced Wednesday it’ll offer a limited number of tickets for seating on the grass hill behind the north endzone.
Last month, the 10,000-seat stadium sold out in just 27 minutes, so school officials wanted to give fans more ways to get in and watch the action.
Tickets for grass seating are just $7, and they’ll be available starting Monday, August 19 at 10 a.m. To get yours, visit tickets.mercer.edu and click on the “Mercer v Reinhardt” image.
The first game is set for August 31 against Reinhardt. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.
