Georgia Peach Purchases Helping Local Charities

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Sweet Georgia peaches, and giving to those in need- what could be better? A local gallery has teamed up with the Georgia Peach Company to help 5 local organizations. Friday is the last day for the event, which has gone on daily from 10am to 5pm since Wednesday.

If you’d like to take part, just head to The SoChi Gallery on 2nd Street in Downtown Macon. You can purchase a whole case of juicy Georgia peaches for $35, and #5 of your purchase will go to one of 5 local charities. You can choose from the Macon Rescue Mission, Jay’s HOPE Foundations, Central Georgia Cares, Covenant Care Services, and the Ronald McDonald House.

The SoChi Gallery is located at 534 2nd Street.
