Fan in Hospital After Falling from Upper Level at Turner Field

ATLANTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An unidentified baseball fan is in the hospital after falling from the upper level of Turner Field.

The fall happened Monday night. The Atlanta Braves issued this statement:

“There was an accident earlier tonight at Turner Field with a spectator falling from the upper level. The spectator has been transported to the hospital.”

The statement went on to say all questions about the incident should be referred to Atlanta Police.  Messages with police haven’t been returned yet.  We also haven’t heard back from the Atlanta Fire Department.

The Braves took on the Phillies Monday night after a long rain delay.
