Middle Georgia District Attorney Earns Top Award

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – One of Middle Georgia’s district attorneys is named the DA of the Year.

Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit DA Fred Bright received the honor from the District Attorney’s Association of Georgia. He represents eight counties, including Baldwin, Jones, and Wilkinson.

Bright has worked in the district for 32 years. He’s been the DA for the last 19 years.

He was chosen from 49 elected DA’s in the state.

Bright tells 41NBC he is humbled and credits his team for the award.
