Several Suspects in Macon Arrested for Vehicle Theft

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police have arrested several individuals in connection with a stolen vehicle, according to a news release.

20-year-old Jerry Ross and 17-year-old Harold Johnson, along with a 16-year-old juvenile, were taken into custody Tuesday night after police were dispatched to Joe Davis Street in order to investigate a suspicious vehicle.

It was later determined by the officers that the vehicle had been stolen by the two older suspects, and then given to the juvenile.

This was Johnson’s first arrest, and Ross’ eleventh since 2009. Both have been charged with Theft by Taking Auto and taken to the Bibb County LEC. Ross also had a Superior Court Probation Violation.

The juvenile was transported to the RYDC and given a charge of Theft by Receiving.
