Crawford County Man Dies in Bibb Crash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Crawford County man is dead after a two vehicle crash Wednesday morning in south Bibb County.

It happened around 9:45 near the intersection of Highway 247, Broadway and Pio Nono Avenue.  Bibb County coroner Leon Jones says the victim is 52-year-old Marco Romero-Castaneda.

Officers on the scene say the driver of a red pickup truck lost control and hit a dump truck.

The wet roads could have played a factor, but we’re still waiting to hear back from Macon Police for more information.

No word yet on if there were any other injuries.
