Car Hits Washington Co. Deputy

A WashingtonCounty deputy is hit by a car while on duty.  According to the Sheriff, officers were responding to a house fire last night when Lt. Mark McGraw was struck by the car.  McGraw was helping control traffic, when a man driving past hit him.

McGraw suffered a broken right wrist and doesn’t remember the incident.

The driver of the car received a citation.
