Milledgeville Police Searching for Bread Company Burglars

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Milledgeville police are looking for two suspects wanted for burglarizing a bread company warehouse and asssaulting an employee.

According to the incident report, MPD responded to the Sarah Lee Bread Company warehouse off Barrows Ferry Road around 3:30 Tuesday morning. An employee, Mary McDade, told the officer she saw two unknown black males walking out of the office as she was coming into work.

Major John Davis tells 41NBC the suspects grabbed her and she fought back. There was a struggle and the suspects ran away.

Davis says McDade suffered from minor bruises. She was sent to the hospital for evaluation.

McDade told MPD one of the suspects was wearing a red shirt, but she didn’t get a look at the other one.

Davis says nothing was stolen. There are no suspects at this time.
