UPDATE: Missing Twiggs County Teen Found Safe

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Authorities in Twiggs County say the 13-year-old girl initially reported missing has been found safe.

Nina Louise Kitchens was located in Roswell near Atlanta on Wednesday night, according to Chief Billy Boney with the Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office.

She was last seen leaving her home in Twiggs County around 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Boney said the teen may have been a runaway.

On Wednesday night, deputies headed to Roswell to retrieve the girl and return her home. No word on if any arrests will be made. The case is still under investigation
