Baldwin Bowling Center Offers Free Bowling For Kids
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — There’s a fun and easy way to beat the heat in Baldwin County and stay in shape.
Kids Bowl Free is a program that allows anyone 15 and under to bowl for free all summer long. The Baldwin Bowling Center is offering 2 games of bowling every day, all summer, at no charge. Participants in the program say they’ve become better bowlers in just a few weeks.
“You always have to aim for the third arrow and you have to bring it up like you’re going to shake hands with the first bowling pin,” said 13-year-old Denise Batchelor.
According to Baldwin Bowling Center manger Michelle Haislip, bowling burns more calories than walking and exercises 184 muscles.
Haislip said, “It’s designed to keep kids and families together and give them an activity…something that’s actually going to benefit them in the long run.”
To sign up, register at www.kidsbowlfree.com to receive vouchers to bowl for free each week until September 30th.
