Baldwin County Man Accused of Spreading HIV Formally Charged
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A grand jury formally indicted the man Baldwin County deputies say who knowingly has HIV but didn’t tell his sexual partners.
Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Chief Assistant District Attorney Stephen Bradley tells 41NBC 21-year-old Robert Wayne Stevenson was indicted on four counts of felony reckless conduct by an HIV infected person.
Stevenson was arrested in March. Stevenson is accused of not telling his sexual partners that he is HIV postive.
Bradley says this case is scheduled for arraignment in August and he hopes it will go before a jury sometime in the fall.
