Bibb County Woman Killed in Car Crash

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Bibb County woman died early Sunday morning after crashing her car on Hartley Bridge Road.

Erika Bartholomeu, 25, was driving her BMW 335i around 1 a.m. and failed to negotiate a curve and hit a fence according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

She was transported to the Medical Center of Central Georgia where she was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m.

Investigators are following up on the accident and awaiting toxicology test results.
