Weather Predictions Forecasted To Improve Dramatically

Weather forecasting will get a big bump — Congress will direct $23.7 million dollars to the National Weather Service for forecasting improvements and infrastructure.  This comes as funding for the National Weather Service is criticized for being too low.  One person asserting this is Dr. John Knox of the University of Georgia, who spoke with 41NBC and said why he feels this funding is crucial, especially considering the recent bouts of extreme weather in the United States.
