Bibb Deputy Kills Dogs After They Attack Woman
BIBB COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a dog attack that happened Thursday in a mobile home park.
According to Cara Cotton with the sheriff’s office, a woman in her 50s was in her yard at Skyview Mobile Home Park off Houston Road around 1 p.m. when she was attacked by her neighbor’s two dogs.
The dogs, identified by neighbors and deputies as pit bulls, escaped from a pen.
The woman was bitten in the head and neck areas and a man at her home fended the dogs off with a broom after hearing the attack. The woman was taken to the hospital with serious bite wounds.
