Marshallville Police Officer Arrested

Authorities say a Marshallville police officer is arrested for shooting at one of his adult sons.  51-year-old Larry Leon Moore is charged with reckless conduct, discharging a firearm under the influence and aggravated assault among other charges.

Police say Moore fired at his 31-year-old son during an argument Sunday night.  No one was injured.

The officers’ son, Shundre Moore, is charged with public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass after he kicked over the Christmas decorations in his father’s front yard.

Larry Moore is being held without bond in the Houston County jail.
