Warner Robins Man Shoots and Kills House Intruder

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Warner Robins man is dead after being shot once in the chest by a home-owner Sunday morning.

In a news release by Warner Robins police, 36 year old Ronald Lewis Burnett was found unconscious outside the home of 32 year old Travis Lucas with a single gunshot wound to the chest.

Officers were told Burnett was trying to break into Lucas’ home at 205 Thomas Boulevard when Lucas shot him.

Burnett was taken to the Houston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
