Teen Charged with Murder Moved to Pulaski County LEC

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – 17-year-old Robert Kane Rolison, the Hawkinsville teen charged with murder in the death of 19-year-old Middle Georgia State College student Jmaal Keyes, is being held at the Pulaski County LEC.

Originally, Rolison was charged and held in Bleckley County after Keyes was believed to have gone missing from the Cochran campus of MGSC.

Spokesperson for the GBI, Sherry Lang, tells 41NBC Rolison is now being held and charged in Pulaski County, because there’s reason to believe Keyes’ death happened there.

Investigators removed human remains from a cabin in rural Pulaski County last Friday that could be connected to the case, but at this time, Lang says they’re still waiting for results to determine if the remains belong to Keyes.
