Houston County Deputy Involved in Shooting

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Houston County deputy was involved in a shooting on Friday afternoon.

Officials at the GBI office in Perry say that the officer was following a man in a truck,

the man then tried to avoid the officer slamming his truck into other patrol cars called to the scene.

The man then tried to flee on foot, and the deputy shot him.

The suspect is in critical condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

No officers were injured.
