Macon Police On Lookout for Missing Elderly Man

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police need your help to find a missing elderly man who was last seen driving his van on Riverside Drive.

In a news release, MPD explained that 71 year old David Mann and his wife, Elaine, were driving south on Riverside Drive in two separate cars around 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. Elaine made a turn onto Lee Road to go home, but David continued on Riverside Drive.

Family and friends in Warner Robins have been contacted because Mann has been working in the Green Street area.

Mann has a medical condition and was believed to be disoriented after not eating all day. He was driving a 1989 black and brown Chevrolet van with Georgia tags PAQ 6915. Mann was wearing green cargo pants and a white long sleeve shirt.

A Mattie’s Call has been issued. It is a statewide tool issued by local law enforcement for a missing or disabled person.
