Last Day of Qualifying for Bibb Elections; 2 Names Join the Race

MACON, Georgia- It was the final day to qualify for a spot to run in the July 16th elections. Two people added themselves to the list of candidates Friday.

Former Bibb County School board member Terry Tripp qualified to run for the district 3 commissioner seat. That race against Elaine Lucas and Danny Glover.

In District 5, Jon Carson will run against Louis Tompkins and Bert Bivins. In all, 30 candidates have qualified for office in this race.
