Racing Radios 125 Presented By Schoenfeld Headers Coming To Gresham On April 27th

JEFFERSON, GA – After a successful start to the inaugural Southern Super Series at Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville on April 6th, Gresham Motorsports Park will welcome the touring series on April 27th for the Racing Radios 125 presented by Schoenfeld Headers.

On Friday, April 26th, GMP will hold an open track rental for Super Late Models only.  Multiple teams will be allowed to rent the track and the more that show up, the bigger the discount!  Track rental will be by the hour (two hour minimum) with rates based on a per hour, per car basis: one car -$150 per hour; two cars -$75 per hour per car; three to five cars- $60 per hour per car; 6 or more cars -$50 per car per hour.  The track will only be available to rent from 2pm to 6pm.

On Saturday, April 27th, GMP will open the gates for the second Southern Super Series race event, the Racing Radios 125 Presented by Schoenfeld Headers.  GMP could not wait until 11am to open the pit gates, so they will open the pit gates at 9am and the trackside and grandstands will open at 11:30am.  Super Late Models will qualify at 5:30 pm, followed by a driver autograph session at 5:45pm and opening ceremonies at 6:35pm.

Those attending the Racing Radios 125 presented by Schoenfeld Headers will have the opportunity to meet the cast of the TV show, Moonshiners. Jeff Waldrip, Mark Rogers, Lance Waldrip, & Mike Lewis, will be at GMP from 2 pm to 8 pm to sign autographs.

During Opening Ceremonies, the fastest Super Late Model Pole winner will receive an additional $500.  The pole award is sponsored by five Southern Super Series engine builders, including Hamner Racing Engines, McGunegill Engine Performance, Progressive Racing Engines, RW Racing Engines and Ford Racing.

GMP will be giving away prizes throughout the night and those in attendance could win a $50 WalMart Gift Card, a Texas Roadhouse Gift Certificate, GMP souvenirs and more!

Tickets for the Racing Radios 125 Presented by Schoenfeld Headers will be $20 for Adults, $17 for Military and Seniors, $15 for school employees and students, and FREE for children 12 and under.
