Local Authorities Searching for a Suspect Wanted for Theft in Monroe County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A “Be on the Lookout” has been issued for Paul Atlee Laneback, Jr.

Laneback is wanted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for theft related crimes. He is also wanted as a person of interest by the Macon Police Department.

He was last seen Wednesday morning at around 9:30AM on Seventh Street in Macon, attempting to sell an apparent phone cable. Laneback was a passenger in a maroon Kia Sorento with the license plate number BKZ8078.
